Sorry, i don't understand this sentence: "energy moves toward the floor instead of away from the floor as in Latin" . I think (i studied) that in WCS we are pushin from the sending foot. In my mind it is also – energy moves -and moves from the floor. No?
Thank you for clearly defining some of the specific items you mentioned to differentiate from rhythm/Latin (ballroom) training. I had heard a couple of these explanations spelled out before in a private lesson, but specifically the knee not tracking “forward” was a lightbulb for me – and one of the things I struggled with during one of the Groove Challenge drills. I had “knees over toes” beaten out of me so it will take some getting used to with this next level awareness. I probably still occasionally trend landing inside edge instead of rolling toe/ball.
Can you define collect the free foot. I e seen this a couple times I’m not sure I get what to collect is.

I'd love to have the text of these progressions in a pdf form to print out – I'm just a paper, word kind of learner.
So wonderful to see foot rolling in such detail finally!
I love the rolling grapevine drill. I had never heard each element enumerated for rolling the feet while moving.
