The last "Try This" exercise was really interesting for me and I tried to remember if it was in the first DDP Bootcamp. I don't remember doing it the first time. This time I could hear all the different parts and tried to move to all of them. It was interesting to feel the different rhythms and ways to move your body in the same song.
The experimenting party is a very good drill to have. You’re experimenting with the playfulness of the music as when you see dancers they shape their bodies as well as play with certain sounds within the music. It looks very silly starting out, but overtime your brain will do a “oooh what if we try this during this part,” and then you have some ah ha moments as well as you can surprise yourself.
