Footwork Agility

Mini-Course

Master your weight transfers so you can move in any direction, at any speed, with confidence and control!

TRAINING YOUR FOOTWORK AGILITY CHANGES EVERYTHING

If you want West Coast Swing to feel more grounded, agile, and intentional, we need to start with the feet.

Everyone talks about needing better "footwork technique".  But have you noticed that there's a huge gap between the "technique" mentioned and you actually being able to implement it in your dance?

That's because there's a missing piece in your training.

Hard truth: Doing endless triples in front of the mirror, repeating choreographed figures, and collecting new footwork variations on videos are not going to progress your dance.

Your brain and muscles need a different prescription in order to build new motor pathways, refine them, improve adaptability, and speed them up.

Think of West Coast Swing like a sport...

when you train your conditioning, your performance improves.
What that looks like in West Coast Swing:

React faster

to all the little accents you hear by boosting your agility and rhythm control

Control your timing

Stay on beat and slow down or speed up effortlessly, in control

Expand your repertoire

Pick up new patterns & footwork variations more easily

Upgrade quality of movement

So you like what you see on video

That's what this mini-course provides.

Let's #trainWCSsmarter by using progressive skill development method.

Join us as we guide you through a fun, strategically structured series of follow-along drills that will help you upgrade all your footwork in just 7 days.

THE 7-DAY FOOTWORK UPGRADE

The Footwork Agility Mini-Course is a structured, progressive practice prescription, not a class you watch and forget.

Over 7 days, you’ll work through 36 targeted drills—sequenced strategically to build agility, balance, grounding, and weight-transfer control.

Each day requires just 30 minutes solo, yet the impact on how you look, feel, and move in your dancing can be dramatic.

This course consistently produces quality-of-movement breakthroughs for West Coast Swing dancers at every level.

WHAT'S INSIDE

You get:

  • 36 progressive footwork drills organized into 7 days (move at your own pace)
  • 7 daily 15-minute tutorial videos guiding you through each day’s drills
  • Clear practice guidance - learn how to practice efficiently with a healthy mindset
  • 7 daily 4-minute daily feedback & encouragement videos addressing common “sticky issues” dancers encounter
  • Printable drill cheat sheet: All drills at a glance for quick reference

This is designed to take about 30 minutes a day: Enough time to make real changes, but not so much that it becomes another abandoned course.

It's designed for focused practice: We recommend dedicating 1-2 weeks to the content to see the results, but you get 2 months of full access - long enough to fit real schedules, short enough to create momentum.

TRAIN SMARTER

WITH CHAMPIONS

& MASTER TEACHERS

Hi we're Myles Munroe & Tessa Cunningham. As West Coast Swing Champions with over 60 years of combined teaching experience, we specialize in leveraging the science of learning to flip the script on how West Coast Swing is taught and trained, creating a development method called Swing Literacy.

This mini-course grew out of our 7-day online Footwork Agility Challenge where 7,000+ dancers from 38 countries have participated live and achieved breakthroughs in just one week.

Due to demand—and dancers who missed it—we decided to make it available year-round so you can do it independently at your own pace, whenever works for you, without needing a partner.

The Swing Literacy method make this 7-day experience so potent and effective, you'll wonder how you've learned or practiced anything without it.

The secret isn’t just the drills—it’s the progressive sequencing, which is the same “secret sauce” used across the Swing Literacy system.

THE DIFFERENCE 7 DAYS CAN MAKE

You should 100% sign up for the challenge! In addition to a bunch of really fantastic technical content, you can also get individual feedback on your homework videos and learn a ton from reading all the feedback to other people who submit their homework videos in the Facebook group!

Elasticity was one of the most important skills that I had been totally missing for my first several years of WCS (of course I had heard teachers talk about stretch all the time, but I never understood what that actually meant or how to do it), and once I learned it, it suddenly opened up my dancing and allowed me to have way more fun dances with everyone! I'm excited to get to further refine and upgrade my elasticity skills during this challenge!

Sarah Stiltskin

This is my first time trying your methods and I am so impressed. I also can’t thank you enough for the growth mindset. I struggle with thinking I’m not good enough and this made a huge difference if wanting to just keep trying even if I’m training ugly!

Tracey Hughes

My aha moment was discovering how much easier spinning is when I incorporate as many of the techniques taught this week into my spins. There were so many elements missing that I will have to work on, but I see and feel the different that just these 7 days have made.  I can’t wait to see how things are as I work through this more and more.

Robert Koseniak

After this seven awesome super Challenge days,  I can't but give you my gratitude.

You are not only top professionals but  splendid teachers.  Your detailed tips,  instructions and also encouragement are undoubtedly great virtues of you both.

Happy to be so fortunate to have this chance to learn from you.

Congratulations and THANK YOU.

All levels - We will show you how to adjust the difficulty level of each drill.
This mini-course is not going to teach you how to dance West Coast Swing - it's aimed at dancers who are already familiar with their basic patterns.

What if I'm too busy right now?
You get 2 months of full access - you can complete and repeat the challenge any time during your access window.
